What is the difference between a fuel cell system and a fuel cell module?

CFCL have experience in all aspects of SOFC engineering, from powders right through to completed systems.  A fuel cell system is a complete system that also contains the fuel, air, water, electronic and electrical systems necessary for operation.

A fuel cell module is the ‘heart' of the complete system, primarily containing the fuel cell stack and hot balance of plant.  The other operating systems are integrated into the equipment that will support the fuel cell module.
